Open Vice President Board Role

The Friends of San Pedro Valley Park are seeking to fill the position of Vice President of the Friends, which has been vacant since August 2025 when our former President, Judy Bacon, stepped down from the board as the VP due to health concerns. This individual supports the President by taking on various tasks assigned by the President and serves as the President’s backup when he/she temporarily cannot perform usual Presidential duties (such as managing a board meeting when the President is ill). The Vice President also has the opportunity to serve as a manager of special projects, either ones of his/her own choosing or those assigned by the President.
