Plant Walk on Valley View Trail to Weiler Ranch Trail
Join Melanie Heisler, manager of the Plant Field Guide Project for the Friends of San Pedro Valley Park, for a hike and learn the basics of plant identification or help us catalog what’s in bloom. This activity is appropriate for folks who are familiar with identifying plants and folks who just want to learn. The only requirement is being able to hike the trails in the park.
This hike will start from the Visitor Center before heading towards Weiler Ranch Trail to the east entrance of Valley View Trail. Then we’ll look for plants along the Valley View Trail and end up back where it joins Weiler Ranch Trail to complete the hike.
