On Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at 6 pm in the Visitor Center, join our local bird expert, Joe Morlan, for his talk, “Just Look and You Will See.”  His presentation will focus primarily on local birds, some of which migrate long distances to the tropics for the winter, as well as those that breed far to the north but spend the winter here.  Intended as an introduction to Bay Area birds, including those in your backyard and at the coast, this presentation will include many of Joe’s wonderful photos of our local birds and specialties.  Please join us for what promises to be an entertaining and informative presentation.

About the Speaker:  Pacifican Joe Morlan taught Field Ornithology at City College in San Francisco for forty years.  He was awarded the ABA’s Ludlow Griscom Award for outstanding contributions to regional ornithology in 2010 and served on the California Bird Records Committee for thirty years, most recently as chair.
