Sunday, April 21 at 9:30 am - 11:00 am PDT

To commemorate Earth Day, Veronica Pitbladdo will take us on this guided walk through a variety of habitats, where we will learn about different medicinal plants that grow in the park.  It will take place on Sunday, April 21st at 9:30 am.  The walk will be led by the herbalist-in-training, who will share her knowledge of the park’s plants and their uses.  We’ll meet at the Visitor Center in San Pedro Valley Park.  Limited to 15 people.  Duration: 90 minutes.  Bring comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen, hat, camera (optional).

Hope to see you there!  Sign-ups are done using the following Eventbrite link:

About Veronica: Veronica is trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and has been interested in the medicinal properties of plants (plantcestors) for a long time.  A few years ago, she started a program in Western Herbalism and received her certificate last year.  She has been exploring the plants at San Pedro Valley Park during hikes and marveling at the diversity of medicinal herbs that the park offers.  Veronica has recently started clinical work at Gathering Thyme School of Herbal Medicine and would like to support people seeking an alternative method to better health.
