Edwin Hacking presents a magical photographic journey of our coastal treasures from the valley to the sea.  Not only are the photographs strikingly beautiful, but he captures what many of us might overlook.

These walks are great for both the beginner and advanced birders who want to "hear" as well as see the great variety of birds in the park.

There will be no talks during June and July 2016 during the refurbishment of the visitors center. The center will still be open on weekends. Next event will be Saturday, August 20

Scorpions are not readily seen in San Pedro Valley Park but they are here, often hiding underneath the rocks.

A total of 250 figures--humans, deer, mountain sheep, rabbits, birds, and fish--most life size or larger. Animals were depicted life size or over, but human figures could be few inches to more than ten feet.

Dr. Shannon Bennett of the Cal Academy will give a scholarly talk on ZOONOSES , the transmission of diseases from animals to humans

Corky Quirk will give a talk for adults and older children on BATS, and bring her live bats to the visitors center.
