It’s finally summer and that means it’s once again time for our annual children’s programs! This year, our first of three events that are sure to excite and intrigue your young ones will be presented by our friends at Wildmind Science on Wednesday, June 21st at 1:30 pm.  This program will be held in the Visitor Center.  No registrations or tickets are required to attend, but there is a $6 park entrance fee per car.  Just arrive on time and be prepared to enjoy the show.

This year’s program by Wildmind is “Spirit of the Rainforest” and will feature a coendou, macaw, speckled owl, skink and tamandua.  Your children will be transported to some of the most wondrous rainforests of the world.  Students will see unusual and awe-inspiring animals and come to better understand the tropical rainforest and its plants, wildlife and people.

Join us to see and learn about these intriguing animals up close and personal.  Your children will learn to think like scientists and appreciate our connectivity with animals, the environment and each other, while having fun learning science!
