Nature Journal Tree Plaques are now in place at 10 trees that are in the south parking lot area, including one, the Monterey Cypress, in the Walnut Grove Picnic Area. This Project, completed by the San Pedro Valley Park Nature Journalers, began in September 2023. There has been a photo display in the Visitor Center announcing the project with a description, the names of the trees, and the nature journalers/artists involved. With the support of Matt Del Carlo, our head Ranger, Katherine Wright’s Interpretative Department and the Friends of San Pedro Valley Park, this project was completed!
