Jim Steele will lead a bird song walk through the park identifying all species within earshot. Playback is judiciously used to help identify each species. Jim will provide tips for learning bird songs as well as visual identification clues and natural history information. These walks are great for both the beginner and advanced birders who want to “hear” as well as see the great variety of birds in the park. For those who attended previous walks this is an opportunity to refresh your skills, while new spring arrivals will add to the tapestry of songs not heard in April.
