Educational Activities

Junior Ranger booklet includes 10 pages of activities including:

• Park Safety & Rules – a 10 word Crossword Puzzle about park safety and rules.
• Get to Know SPV – junior rangers will make observations about staff at the park, the visitor center, trails and animals
• Habitat Matching – junior rangers match animals to their most common habitats.
• Animal Diner – where junior rangers will match animals to their meals. 
• Bingo – junior rangers must spot 4 animals on their bingo card in a row to win!
• Nature Detective – junior rangers must use 4 clues to identify the mystery animal. 
• Watersheds – a maze illustrating all the obstacles in a clean watershed.
• Mindfulness – junior rangers will use all 4 of their senses to make observations about the park around them.
• Reflection – junior rangers will write a poem and draw a picture.
• The Pledge – finally you must sign your name and take thee official pledge to become, a Junior Ranger.
