The Friends of San Pedro Valley Park are extremely pleased to announce the newest addition to our Board of Directors.  Shane Kadlecik has agreed to become our new Director of Promotion & Outreach and will focus his efforts on improving the promotion of the Friends’ various volunteer activities and, in particular, bringing us into the 21st century by establishing our presence on social media.  In his short time on the Board thus far, Shane has already rejuventated our Facebook page (bet you didn’t even know we had one!), established new Friends’ accounts on Instagram and YouTube, set up a new online VC Host sign-up system using Google calendar, and even helped us with some IT issues on our website.  You may recognize Shane’s name from last year’s photo contest.  He won 1st place in three of the four categories and was named winner of the People’s Choice Award as well!  Please join us in welcoming Shane to the Board of Directors.
