2024 Photo Contest Winners

The Friends’ 3rd annual Photo Contest concluded on May 1st.  A small number of excellent entries were once again received.  These high quality images reflected the skills of the photographers who submitted them, as well as the beauty of our beloved park and its inhabitants.  Our three gracious judges, Matt Del Carlo, Edwin Hacking, and Sharron Walker have reviewed all the entries and completed their deliberations to determine the top three photographs in each of the four contest categories.

Each of the winning images has been printed and matted, and are now on display in the Visitor Center.  The images will also be featured in our next (July-August) issue of Valley Views, which be sent out at the beginning of July.  And along with the Visitor Center display, we are again holding a “Best of the Winners – People’s Choice Award” contest, in which every visitor viewing the images on display over the next two months can submit their vote for the overall best photograph.  Come and see them in person!

The Friends of SPVP sincerely thank all who entered their images this year and contributed to the success of this contest effort, and we extend our hearty congratulations to each of the winners!
