We are very pleased to announce that the photograph “Banana Slugs’ Dinner” by Ian McDermod, which had been awarded second place in the Fauna category by the Friends’ 2024 Photo Contest judges earlier this year, has also been voted as “The People’s Choice” award winner by SPVP visitors who viewed the winning photos while they were on display in the Visitor Center during the months of May-June and chose to submit a ballot.

Ian will receive a certificate of award from the Friends at our Membership Meeting and BBQ in September and will be acknowledged in the next (September-October) issue of our ‘Valley Views’ newsletter.
