Corky Quirk, the Bat Lady from Norcal Bats, will bring 3 disabled and hungry little bats to our Visitor Center, so that you and your children can watch them munch live on meal worms on our big screen this Saturday afternoon, November 19, at 3pm.  She will also give a presentation about bats of the world, so you can travel into their strange and acrobatically talented world. Corky has taught people of all ages about these sonar-equipped critters for many years, giving field trips to the Yolo Bypass area near Davis, where bats by the thousands emerge in the evening to gobble up insect pests threatening crops.
