Community Input to Build a Resilient San Pedro Creek

The San Pedro Creek Watershed Coalition (SPCWC) is seeking input on its revised 2017 Work Plan from citizens at a meeting on Saturday, February 24th from 2:00-4:00pm at the Visitor Center in the SPV County Park.

The Board of Directors of the Coalition is inviting you to meet and discuss the progress made since 1999 when the organization formed and future directions. The SPCWC needs your input and involvement to be an effective group that provides leadership in protecting the water quality, habitat, fish and wildlife, and property alongside and associated with this important coastal stream.

Below are pictures of removal of large pieces of concrete in the San Pedro Creek. The concrete was obstructing the Steel Head from going upstream to spawn.  City of Pacifica Department of Streets under Supervisor Paul Lavorini did a great job.
